A series of works centered on the motif of the vase, initiated by a visit to the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The experience prompted a reconsideration of the relationship between motifs found in Japanese ceramics and painting and the ceramic traditions brought from the Korean Peninsula and mainland China. The hollow form of the vase and the imagery painted on its surface share a common function with the display screen. The series explores the vase from this perspective, working across multiple formats including sculpture, display, and canvas. Ongoing since 2023.
台湾の故宮博物館に訪れたことをきっかけに、日本の陶芸や日本画に見られるモチーフと朝鮮半島や中国大陸から伝来した陶芸との関係性について考えた『壺』をモチーフとしたシリーズ。壺の空洞性と表面に描かれた絵は、ディスプレイとしての機能とも重なる。こうした視点から壺を捉え直し、立体・ディスプレイ・キャンバスなど複数の形式で展開。2023年より制作。

Vase of Possibility Before Determination was exhibited in the 2023 group exhibition Authentic Artifacts. The series constructs three-dimensional vase forms by assembling blocks with UV output on their surfaces. During the exhibition, the work was deliberately destroyed by the artist, with the act of destruction projected from a small projector placed inside the vase. Once broken, the blocks can be fully restored simply by reassembling them in the same configuration — a reversibility that resonates with the nature of digital data.
確定される前の『可能性の壺』は、2023年の企画展『本物の人工物』にて展示された。ブロックにUV出力を施し、それを組み上げて壺の立体を構成するシリーズで、展示中に作者自身によって一度破壊された。破壊の様子は、壺の内部に設置された小型プロジェクターから投影された。ブロックは破壊されても同様に組み直すことで完全に修復できるという、デジタルデータの特性と共鳴する可逆性を持つ。
